
Dale Hollow Lake has 620 miles of shoreline, and is located in 6 counties and
2 states. The lake covers a total of 52,000 acres, with 27,000 acres of water,
and 25,000 acres of adjoining boundary land. Four top-of-the-line Corps of Engineers
campgrounds are available with water and electric hook-ups, and numerous day-use
areas offer clean picnic, beach, and launching facilities for all users. Fourteen
commercial marinas provide a variety of services, such as small vessel and houseboat
rental, restaurants, moorage, and lodging. Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park
also offers marina facilities, as well as a campground, visitor center, horse
and hiking trails, and a newly-constructed lodge.
